Derrick has been a partner at Trinity since 2002 and has faithfully served the body in many capacities since, such as youth minister, youth band leader, sound and video person since 2004. Derrick became an elder at TCC in January of 2019. After many devoted years of youth ministry, they have passed down the hands-on role of youth coordinator and instead are the pastoral oversight for the youth. They have a heart for the body and are involved in many areas, such as the worship, nursery, and house church leadership teams.

A Knoxville native, Kelly is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. He has pastored churches in West and East Tennessee and as a church planter. Kelly has a passion for faithfully communicating God’s word and showing how its truths apply to daily living. He desires to see the gospel transferred to succeeding generations.

Mark came on staff at Trinity in 1989.  He serves our body in many ways, most notably in his role as Discipleship Pastor, training and developing leaders and helping to set up teams and systems to assure ministry is maximized at Trinity. He led worship for over 20 years at Trinity, during which time he trained many others in that ministry and authored the book “Because He’s Worthy”.  Parts of the book have been translated into Russian and Spanish and have blessed people in multiple nations. Mark also serves as TCC’s Missions Coordinator. In this role, he oversees and helps facilitate local outreaches and church-sponsored mission efforts, regionally, nationally, and internationally. He travels throughout the United States and overseas, equipping leadership teams in local churches and teaching on worship, family and theology through conferences and seminars.

Scott is a man that believes in and has experienced a relationship with God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. He was raised in a church that believed in works-based salvation but was broken free by the grace of God and now lives in the light of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Scott is passionate about his calling to lead and pastor God’s people and is very thankful to be a part of a Gospel-centered, biblically faithful, spirit-filled church that believes in the supremacy of the Gospel.

Tyler grew up with a ministry background and, over the years, has served in several churches as a life groups pastor, worship leader, youth pastor, and more before taking his role as the Lead Pastor of TCC. He’s been married to his lovely wife Amy since 1993. Tyler and his family moved to Knoxville as missionaries, and since coming to Trinity, he has filled several roles at TCC before entering his current role as the Lead Pastor. His’s heart is to protect and care for the church while seeing every ministry at Trinity create fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.  

Neil was born in 1953 and was raised in a Jewish home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before moving to Miami, Florida as a teenager. He first heard the Gospel from his brother Perry who was saved and delivered from drug use by God’s power. Neil heard the Gospel, and in 1971, surrendered his life to the call of God. Immediately, he sensed a call to the work of God and began to prepare for it. Since that time, Neil has pastored several churches and has and continues to travel widely both in the U.S. and abroad. Neil is a gifted teacher with an in-depth knowledge of Scripture whose teaching gift has helped many. Neil currently serves as the team leader for MasterBuilders, a network of New Testament churches in the US, Puerto Rico, and The Dominican Republic.
